Week of June 12

This week we where able to turn in our film . We got most of our filming done for our last film. We also had our film festival. It was really cool to see our film in the festival and to see all of the films that other students have mad through out the year. I am really excited for this after school festival

Week of June 5

This week we where able to get a lot of the filming for or narrative done. We are going to film some more today.

Week of May 29

This week we where finally able to turn in our film and submit it to the film festival  for the school. We also film our second film  and already started to edit it.

Week of May 22

This week we have begun to work on my 3rd film . We are writing the script and doing the sketch as of now.

Week of May 15

This week we had issues with the audio and we had to remove some of the videos because of the audio issues but we are set to show it to Mr.Lansdown

Week of May 8

This week we showed mister lansdown a rough cut of our film with still needs some audio editing but either than that we are pretty much done with our film and hopefully buy the end of next week we will have started our second film.

Week of April 24

This week we where able to get most of the film editing . We are hoping to be done with our editing by the end of next week.

Week of April 17

In my group with Alma where were able to get some of our film edited. We still got some work to do but we are working on it.

Week of April 10

This Week my partner in my film production Alma we were able to complete the interviews for our documentary about beauty. We haven’t yet finished our film but I think that we will be done by the 18 of April. All we have to do now is to cut what we have to make the film.

Week of April 3

This week of April 3 me and my partner in my film production Alma where able to start filming our documentary on beauty. We knew exactly what we wanted our film to be about and how we wanted it to look but not really ho we where going to film and the people we wanted to film. Know that we actually started to film it was a lot easier to get a good I deal of how many people we wanted to film.

Week of March 27

In my production company is Alma Villarreal and the name of our production company is You and I productions. This week we came up with the idea of making a documentary to show woman and people in general that beauty is what ever you want it to be and that no matter what you think you are beautiful. We came up with a list of open-ended questions that we want people to answer but also in a way the beauty is subjective and that everyone is beautiful. We also found some quotes that we would like to incorporate into our documentary. Theses quotes we feel in body the kind of message we arte trying to send to people. We also were able to get some people in line to interview but we are also hoping that we would be able to get some really raw video of people’s everyday life. Hopefully by next week we can begin to film most of the interviews

What music means to me

Music is one of the most important things in my life. I feel like as though the world I so boring without it.  I don’t lay when I say I listen to music for at least and hour and a half a day. Some of my favorite artist is Paramour, Even scene. Within Temptation, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Selena, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Meagan Trainor, Rihanna, Lana del Ray Sia, Emeli Sande, and Adele just to name a few. Some of my favorite songs are Sex on fire by Kings of lion Princesses china by coldplay and rihanna. I hear music all day but the difference is just what kind of music. Many time when imp laying in my bed thinking I like to herepeoiple like Adele emeli sande, lana del rey and sia. When im hyper all I want to do is dance so I hear party music. Music is apart of me. I real want to a singerbuty I feel as though im not good at it. To me I don’t really have a favorite genera just along is the song is good

The Struggles of High School Students

I feel as though one of the biggest struggles in High school and mainly in Bell high school would be that people just seem not to care very much about what we have to say.  Many times the teachers do seem to care because they are the ones that are working directly with students and may see how some of the complaints are affecting the students but I see very few administrators actually trying to help. Kids get bullied and then nothing really gets done about it. Another struggle would be that we many times lack the resources that other students in other areas. Are school has over three thousand students yet we barley see anything being down about it. We are so stuffed we share everything. I feel as though the main thing that needs to be done is that the students need to be listened to and at least they have to try to help.

The most interesting person

To me one the most interesting people I know is My Mom. She has lived a very different life from the one that we are today and the struggles that she lived through were very difficult. My mother growing up had 9 brothers and sisters. From a young age in Mexico she was already working on a farm with my grandfather. She would eat tortillas with salsa and that was on a good day. She once told me that she got in trouble for buying a jalapeño because her family didn’t have that kind of money to spend. At the age of 16 She left her home in Oaxaca to go work in another area and she was also studying but couldn’t continue because of lack of resources. From there she came to America where she met my father and a year later had my sister then my brother then me than my little sister and that’s where it leads here to March 2 Her 44^th birthday

Anti-drug

An anit drug is different for every person. My anti drug would have to be music and reading. These to things help me coop and feel better. Whenever I am hearing music, it is as I am in another place. Many times, I hear music that reflects my emotions in a sense. When ever i am feeling sad I tend to hear sad music that helps me feel like someone. When I feel annoyed I tend to hear loud music to drone every one out. With reading it is as I am transported to another world where ever the story is taking place. For that time that I am reading, I am worry free and I feel as though I am the main character in the story. I even tend to get emotional whenever they are emotional. I also tend to read and here music at the same time to distress. These are my anti drugs

A Inconvenient Truth

An inconvenient truth is a documentary about Al gore and his fight against climate change and trying to motivate people to change and to move forward with trying to save the environment. What really hit about his presentation was how he spoke about Greenland and Antarctica and how there is melting. He showed hoe if the glaciers keep melting there would be a huge amount of flooding everywhere. He also showed ho the once great6 rivers that where as large s they come now dried out over the time to the point that some of them where completely dried out. In addition, how at some point in time some of the mountains that had a lot do snow has none. People depend on that snow to survive. He belives that n the next few years the whether will continue to rise. He is fighting to save the earth and how he s going about it amazing
